Our Commitment

Quizola is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible. We aim to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we continually work to improve the accessibility of our site.

Measures We Have Taken

We have taken the following steps to make quizola.co.uk accessible:

  • Semantic HTML — pages use appropriate heading levels, landmark regions (header, main, footer, nav), and ARIA labels where needed.
  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) can be reached and operated using a keyboard alone.
  • Skip link — a "Skip to main content" link is the first focusable element on every page, allowing keyboard users to bypass navigation.
  • Colour contrast — text colours are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
  • Focus indicators — visible focus styles are maintained for keyboard navigation.
  • ARIA attributes — interactive components such as accordions use aria-expanded and role attributes to communicate state to screen readers.
  • Responsive design — the site adapts to all screen sizes and works at 400% zoom without loss of content.

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas that may not yet fully meet accessibility standards:

  • PDF quiz packs are formatted for print and screen use, but may not be fully accessible to screen readers. If you need an accessible version of a pack, please contact us and we will do our best to help.
  • Third-party components (Stripe checkout) are outside our direct control. Stripe maintains its own accessibility programme.
